…and how many times have they won it?

Arsenal is one of the most successful football clubs in English football history. However, it has been a while since they last won the Premier League title. It’s been almost 20 (!) years since the last time they achieve it.

It was back in the 2003-2004 season, and they went through the entire league season without losing a single game. Known as the “Invincibles”, Arsenal have some incredible players, such as Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires and Dennis Bergkamp.

The Role of Arsène Wenger in Arsenal’s Success

When we talk about Arsenal’s success, we cannot disconnect it from Arsène Wenger. The French coach is arguably the most successful manager in Arsenal’s history. He managed the club for 22 years, winning three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. Wenger also led Arsenal to the UEFA Champions League final in 2006.

Also, equally important, was his impact on revolutionizing English football with his tactical innovations, his emphasis on sports science.

The club has won 13 league titles (including one unbeaten title), a record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, 16 FA Community Shields, one European Cup Winners’ Cup, and one Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. In terms of trophies won, it is the third-most successful club in English football.

Arsenal odds to win Premier League 2023:

The Gunners are now back to being favorites to win the Premier League, after the thrilling win against Bournemouth, to retain their five-point lead over Manchester City.
