Manchester City finally achieved their dream of winning the Champions League. The historic moment took place on Saturday, June 10th, in Turkey, where they defeated Inter to become the second English club to complete the Treble, securing victories in the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League within the same season. This remarkable achievement mirrors the feat of Manchester United in 1999.
The Premier League title was sealed with 12 consecutive victories from late February to late May, as Arsenal faltered and allowed their eight-point lead to slip away. This secured Manchester City their fifth title in six seasons.
In regards to the FA Cup, the final was contested against Manchester United who not willing to let their city rivals accomplish the same feat, stood in their way at Wembley Stadium, however, they ended up losing the game (2-1).
